I am the Director of the Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities at Case Western Reserve University. We recently received an NEH challenge grant which included a portion devoted to the digital humanities so I am interested in exploring new directions in digital humanities. We are also currently hosting a faculty research working group devoted to the digital humanities. In my own research (I am an historian of nineteenth- and early twentieth-century British and European art), I am applying new digital humanities methodologies to the study of the history of the art market, particularly using visualization techniques for network analysis.
