Originally from the east coast of Florida, I am currently a graduate student at the Ohio State University, working in Ancient History. My academic focus is on Classical Athens, working specifically with issues of disease in times of war. I'm particularly interested in using mapping technology and social networking tools inside the classroom to allow students to see historical events through the lens of geographic analysis.
