I am a former photography professor at Antioch College, continuing in the 2008-9 year to teach Community Journalism, digital photo, and local and sustainable agriculture at Nonstop Institute (the continuing movement of Antioch College faculty, staff, and students. I am currently teaching at the U of Dayton as an artist in residence in an interdisciplinary team-taught course called "The Archaeology of a Neighborhood" - looking at the Place of the student neighborhood - its history from the early 1900's to current, gathering oral histories, looking at archives, and studying the environmental infrastructure, and our place in a larger world. Students are creating audio files with documentary and archival images as Sound Slide programs. I am beginning a documentary project on community educators / activists.
