I am an anthropologist, designer, historian, and historic preservation advocate from the Washington, DC area working with community heritage and revitalization in in Baltimore, Maryland. My past research has included work on heritage tourism, gentrification, African-American suburbs, cultural landscape studies, and affordable housing. My current research interests include the political economy of community revitalization, the history of housing advocacy, and post-WWII urban history.
