I am an associate professor in the Department of Urban Affairs and Geography with a joint appointment in the Department of History at Wright State University. I teach courses in Community Development, Digital History, Material Culture, Oral History, and Women’s History. I also work on programs with area schools and with state and local cultural organizations including Cityfolk, the Ohio Humanities Council, the National Afro American Museum and Cultural Center, the Engineer’s Club, the Ohio Arts Council and the Dayton International Peace Museum. I serve on WSU's Civic-Engagement and Service-Learning Committee. I live in Yellow Springs, Ohio. I attended the first THATCAMP at the Center for History and New Media. I'm the editor for oralhistory.org and I serve on the editorial board for H-Oralhist.
